Go For the Gold at Davis' Mega Maze

(July 14, 2008-Sterling, Massachusetts USA) - Do you have what it takes to be Olympian? Experience the thrill of victory and go for the gold in the world's most complex 3-D adventure cornfield maze. Capture the Olympic spirit right here in America at Davis' Mega Maze.

The excitement begins when you enter the maze and start your own Olympic training. While navigating through this challenging puzzle, guests can create their own athletic profile, play a variety of unique games, and continue on to bring home the gold! Davis' Mega Maze contains miles of complex pathways that twist and turn, crossing over and under each other with twelve strategically placed bridges (more bridges than any other field maze and the only double-decker bridge). The days of meandering thru endless pathways of corn are over. There's fun around every corner!

Co-Owner Larry Davis explains, "This is the first Morphing Maze, meaning it has the capacity to change its pathways and solutions every day. There are countless ways to play and many different intensity levels. It's an amazing experience for families, friends, and team bonding."

World renowned maze architect Adrian Fisher, drafted this complex puzzle from his home in Dorset, England. Mr. Fisher's maze designs span over six continents gracing visitor attractions, castles, and palaces.

The maze is constructed in an 8-acre cornfield on the Davis' seventh-generation family farm. Many crews participate in developing this living sculpture ranging from research and site development to the "action team" that carves the maze. Approximately 12,800 labor hours are required to prepare for opening day.

Davis' Mega Maze opens Thursday, July 31 and is open every day through September 1st from 10am-6pm, last admission is at 5pm, (weather and conditions permitting - always call ahead). After that, it will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, and Columbus Day, thru November 9th or for as long as the crop lasts. Admission for Davis'Mega Maze is $16.95 for adults, $12.95 for children (5-12) & seniors (60+ years), and free for children under 5. Children under 12 must be fully chaperoned. Kiddie backpacks recommended for children under 3. Davis' Mega Maze is located off Route 62 in Sterling, Massachusetts.
